Swiss WorldCargo (SWR)

Swiss WorldCargo is the air cargo division of Swiss International Air Lines Ltd (Star Alliance carrier).

Swiss International Air Lines AG (SWISS) is the national airline of Switzerland. Swiss International Air Lines is operating scheduled services in Europe as well as to North America, South America, Asia and Africa. Company's main hub is ZRH/LSZH Zurich Airport, with focus city operation located at Geneva Airport. The airline was established after the bankruptcy of Swissair, the former flag carrier of Switzerland, in 2001.

Swiss International Air Lines is a subsidiary of Lufthansa Group, with headquarters based at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg close to the city of Basel, Switzerland, as well as an office at Zurich Airport situated in Kloten, Switzerland. The registered office of the company is in Basel.

Swiss International Air Lines has set up its regional airline subsidiary named Swiss European Air Lines, which has an air operator's certificate. The independently operating divisions Swiss WorldCargo and Swiss Aviation Training (using the belly capacity of passenger aircraft) are also owned by Swiss International Air Lines.
