Two adults and a kid have died and a further 8 people have been injured on Sunday, October 14, after a plane crashed into a group of people at an air field in Hesse, Germany.

Cessna Aircraft flew into the crowd causing the deaths and injuries.

It is still unclear how the accident happened. All weather conditions had been good and an air show hadn't taken place.

The incident happened at 3:45 p.m. local time on Wasserkuppe mountain, a hill close to the city of Fulda.

Local media reported that the pilot had lost control of the aircraftplane when trying to land. It appeared something had gone wrong during the landing so the pilot had tried to take off again.

The aircraft broke through the barrier and rolled into the spectators.

Wasserkuppe peak is the highest in Rhon Mountains and features the elevation of a big plateau formation.
